JAPAN CULINARY ADVENTURES: OSAKA

Note: All the Culinary Adventure posts on this blog are merely reports, not reviews. These adventures serve as "research" and "areas of learning" for the author (which is me, duh).

My adventure continues to the heaven of Japanese street food, Osaka. Here in Osaka, there's this one street called Dōtonbori, birth place of all things street food. As a foodie, visiting this street is a must.

Here is my visit in pictures.

FOOD, I AM COMING.

Well hello there, Mr. Giant Octopus!

The inside of this takoyaki is all kinds of smooth and tasty, with generous servings of tako(octopus).
HANDS DOWN TO THE BEST TAKOYAKI IN TOWN!!

Buttery goodness slowly melting....

MAMMA MIA!

WILL YOU LOOK AT THAT TEXTURE!

After tasting a handful of street foods, I took a culinary trip to some of the restaurants along the street. Below are pictures of the foods I ate.

Yes, they taste as good as they look.

Crab Gratin. Oh boy.

Real crab meat, mixed with velvety cream and corn. What else can I ask for?

Alright guys, those will be it for today's blog entry. I feel so bad for making you drool so badly, but my culinary adventures in Osaka did not end here - in fact, this is only the beginning! Stay tuned for more mouth-watering photos!
