TOP 10 BEST FOODS & DRINKS AT HYPE

By now, every single person reading this must have heard a thing or two about HYPE Market.

There are hundreds of food and fashion kiosks at HYPE. This may make it hard to pick what foods to eat or not to eat. I'm here to help you - here are 10 of my favourite foods and drinks at HYPE.
These kiosks are not sorted based on ranks.

1. BANK OF BLOOD

Hands down, the most outrageous kiosk in HYPE. Drinking out of blood bags? Sipping sweet "human blood"? Definitely out of this world. Except if you're a vampire, then it'll be completely normal for you.
(when can they ever get my name right?)

2. HO-BAK

Crispy pork belly served over white rice? Nothing more can be said. It's pure bliss.

3. ke.NYOT.yuk

There's this thing about drinking milk from quirky containers. First blood bags, now comes baby bottles. I can tell you for sure though - aside from feeling super giddy because you're drinking from an actual baby bottle, the taste of the milk is actually good! The one above is oreo flavoured.

4. CRÊPE SIGNATURE

This picture wasn't exactly taken at HYPE, but Crêpe Signature is a frequently occurring kiosk at the market.
The crêpe itself is regular-sized, but is folded in a certain way to make it look enormous. Nonetheless, carrying a crêpe the same size as your face is super fun, and the taste was pretty decent! The crêpe crisped up nicely, and the nutella-cheese combo was just heaven.

5. SANTORINI FROZEN MOCKTAILS

Fizzy, fresh, and tangy. This frozen cocktail is unprecedented! Absolutely recommended if you're looking for something refreshing.

6. MARTABAK BOSS

Martabak Boss has been around for quite a while, famous for its creative concoctions of martabak flavours. My favourite is by far their Red Velvet Martabak, which is a vibrant combination of red velvet martabak batter, cheese and oreo in the middle, the filling drizzled with sweet condensed milk. The overall taste is a mixture of sweet, salty, and a slight tang. Indescribably delightful.

7. MIYOSHI GYOZA

These adorable little gyoza are definitely mouthfuls. They're just delicious.

8. ZOMBIE POOTATIE

This is basically a potato croquette topped with sausage slices, hard-boiled egg, and broccoli. The sauce smothered over was honey mustard.
This is definitely something new. Food has great taste, and presentation is adorable. Try it out.

9. FORBIDDEN CAKWE

Ever thought of cakwe filled with tasty, tender meat and topped with saos padang or mushroom sauce? No? Well Forbidden Cakwe is here to prove that it's possible! Top cakwe with mayo to give it a dynamite sushi feel.
The saos padang is BOMB, btw.

10. YAYA GIANT SQUID

This picture was, again, not taken at HYPE. But Yaya Giant Squid had opened their kiosk at HYPE at some point. The one above had seaweed seasoning.
The squid is undeniably tender. The batter is not overwhelmingly much, and is nicely crispy. The seaweed seasoning is just right. Definitely worth a shot.

So there you go guys! These are my favourites, what's yours?
